11/01 - NITE BUNKO - @ Kay Russell's 11/04 - LUNCHEON - Location: Bluegrass Country Club. Our guest speaker for November will be Melinda Gaines. Melinda portrays Rachel Jackson, wife of Tennessee's Andrew Jackson.. She will be dressed in period costume and we will learn what it was like to have made a dangerous journey by flatboat to arrive w/Nashville's first settlers.. She will talk about her love for Andrew and the scandals it caused, as well as what it was like being married to Andrew.
"Rachel" and her partner "Andrew" travel together and separately giving speeches, tours, talks from the Hermitage, Historic Rock Castle, Tennessee Museum, schools, parties, events and etc., etc... They also have done filming for TV, PBS documentary, etc.. Experience history returning to life with a visit from Mrs. Andrew (Rachel) Jackson.
